When would I expect to receive Clubcard points following an eligible purchase using a Tesco bank credit card, and why is this not shown anywhere on the banking app / cc statements?

Clubcard points can take up to 7 days to update. You can see how many points you've earned in the mobile banking app on the home screen underneath your account details, however for a breakdown of points earned you'll be redirected to the groceries app.
