Some accommodation I booked through Airbnb was cancelled recently by the host, and a full refund was promised. The problem: my card has been lost in the meantime, but Airbnb insisted they had to issue the refund to my old card number.

Now it gets strange... The refund appeared in my app for one day (against the new card number) as a pending item and then disappeared. No sign of it since. I did ring customer services and they assured me that the refund would "eventually" find its way to me. When is that likely to be?
