Hi, how do I do a balance transfer to an Amex card? The app keeps telling me the number is not valid but cannot see anywhere in Tesco’s guidance that Amex is not allowed!! Thanks

Sorry you are having trouble balance transferring from American Express. Balance transfers from some card providers have to be processed manually by us over the phone and can't be done through our app/website. American express is one of those providers.

Please call our Credit Card team on 0345 300 4278 (Mon-Fri: 8am-9pm) (Sat-Sun: 8am-4pm) and they will be happy to help you with this.
