Clubcard+ problem

    I wanted to get the clubcard+ to earn extra points but when I go try to add the card to Tesco bank it comes up with an error saying the card can't be added. When I click the help button the link dosnt work. I called the support team about a week ago, they said they added it for me and it would take a couple days. Still not working and I'm getting very frustrated

    @Dan2066 Hi Dan, sorry to hear you're having issues, hopefully we can help.

    Just to clarify a few things, is this the Clubcard+ 7.99 subscription or the Pay+ payment card that you have?

    Also, when you are adding it to Tesco Bank is this being done on the Website? and in what way is it not working?

    It's the debit card I've got, the clubcard pay+

    I want to add the card to my tesco bank app (I've used my computer too) when I try and add it it says it's failed to add and gives me a link to get help, I click the link and it says the link doesn't work.

    Because it's a debit card I can't even use it till I've put some money on it.

    Very frustrating

    @Dan2066 I can understand that would be frustrating.

    Is it just the Pay+ card you have with us, or do you have another account (I.e. Credit Card, Loan or Savings) that you are trying to add it to?

    I have a credit card too, this one works fine on the app

    @Dan2066 Okay, if you are attempting to link the two accounts the most common problem is usually the details not matching (This can be something small like a letter/number being wrong or big like a totally different name). If you have spoken to us and referred it on, a specialised team would usually identify the issue and get in contact to have this rectified.

    If it has been a week, I would recommend getting in touch with either team CC (0345 300 4278) or Pay+ (0345 835 6295) and they may be able to chase this up or check for updates.

    In the meantime, the Pay+ account can also be registered separately for Online Banking Here so you can access the account and get it up and running. The Pay+ team may also be able to help add funds over the phone, so you start using the new card.
