I'm travelling to Vietnam on Saturday 22 March and returning to the UK on Thursday 10 April. I want to let Tesco know so that when I use the credit card in Vietnam it works. Is there anything else I need to do?

You don’t need to notify us if you’re planning on using your credit card abroad. However, please bear in mind there is a 2.75% foreign transaction fee applied when using your card to purchase in another currency. I've included a link which will provide more information on these charges and using your card overseas.

Please be aware that exchange rates can change in the delay between your transaction being placed and your card being billed. We'll advise of all charges on your statement when produced. However, I've also included a link to the MasterCard currency conversion calculator in case you need to know how much you will be paying in GBP.
