Hello, I got a Tesco credit card in August 2024 because of a long 0% balance transfer (I think 30 or 36 months). I received an email 'reminder' today telling me this rate is ending in May 2025. Please Tesco, can you tell me what is going on? Thanks.
36 months on 0% balance transfer rate ending early?

Verified Answer@Rainbowcat Hey there, thanks for getting in touch!
When you take a Balance Transfer card with us, you are also given an introductory 0% period on Money Transfers. We are obligated to let you know when that period expires whether you took the option or not. The email should state it refers to Money Transfers.
Any existing Balance Transfers you've processed won't be affected by this and will expire on the date you were given when you opened the account.
If you'd like us to check this for your own peace of mind, please send a private message.

@Christopher P - thank you for your reply and answer!
Yes, the email does say 'money transfers' - but first it says in very big letters - 'Your 0% rate is ending soon'!
So, I thought it must apply to my transfer. It didn't mention in the email that 'your balance transfer' offer rates were not ending.
A bit of a confusing and worrying email to receive!
Reassured now - thank you. All best, Rainbowcat :) -
@Rainbowcat Yeah, I totally understand why it has caused some confusion and apologise about the concern, but happy to have cleared it up for you 😊
