money transfer charge for account in credit

    Hello,

I recently cleared my credit card debt. But the other day I had a refund from PetPlan as my cat recently died. (I'd paid in full for the year).

This made my account £206 in credit

I called through to customer services and explained and asked if I could get the money back as I'm not planning on using my credit card for a while.

This was agreed, but the customer service agent never said I would be charged a money transfer fee.

Who can I contact to query this?

    Thanks

@denisekillen Hey, thanks for getting in touch!

I'm really sorry to hear about your cat and hope you're okay.

When we process this type of refund sometimes a money transfer fee will be applied in error. If you see this appear via online banking or the mobile app then don’t be alarmed. If you’ve only transferred the exact amount you are in credit by, we'll automatically refund this fee within 7-10 working days.

This should have been made clear to you when you called, so I'm sorry that it wasn't. You can read more about this here.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
