Refund after statement day

    I have been issued refund from a vendor after my Tesco credit card statement day. For example my credit card bill after statement day is £200. I have been issued a refund of £100. So now should I only pay the remaining £100 or I have to pay £200 as per my statement? Refund transaction is fully processed now not it pending status. Could you suggest please. I’m just worried if I pay less I may be charged. So thinking of paying £200 just to avoid charges if any. Would appreciate community advice. Thanks in advance

    It would depend on when the refund was fully processed and how close it is to your payment date/direct debit. If you call the Credit Card team directly, they'll be able to confirm if the amount has readjusted.

    You can reach them on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and they'll be happy to help.

    To speak to one of my colleagues, please choose option 2 and enter your security details, then press 0. If you don't have any details to hand, just press 0 and you will then be passed through.
