Loan Application Declined

I applied for a loan signed the document and sent it back with a first class delivery 8 days ago.
I had to call the customer service this morning to find out what might be causing the delay and was told they could not verify when my work permit expires as it only shows I have the right to work. Hence was told the application will be withdrawn.

When I log into the gov.uk website I can clearly see the expire date then I tried checking as an employer using the share code attached to my signed document but only shows I can work anywhere.
I went only to check why expire date was not showing on Gov.uk and here was what I got “When your employer checks your status using the share code, they will see if you have the right to work or rent, but they will not see the expiry date of your pre-settled or settled status”

I called the customer service to clarify this and was told I was declined for other reason and not the sharecode.
    so unlucky

Generally, we will decline an application if some of the information provided falls outside of our current credit policy for lending. We are limited to what we can discuss via this channel I’m afraid, however you will receive more information in the form of an email or a letter depending on your contact preferences listed on the application.

If you wish to appeal the decision or want more information on applying again, the links below will provide some further details.

I’m sorry for any disappointment this causes.
