I made a payment of£8500 on my balance of £10400 on Tuesday the 8th it's jus said my minimum payment on the 2nd of May is £259 Pounds ?? How can that be

The minimum payment information will always be displayed on the landing screen. If you've already made at least the minimum payment then please don't worry, there's nothing further you need to do.

You can check your recent payments in the transactions tab.

@ChristopherP it's OK I'd already paid Apr payment before I paid the 8500 so I gather that that will be taken as mays payment??

@Mechanic Has your May statement produced? If you paid it before it produced, then it will go towards April's balance.

@ChristopherPno I got the statement on the 7th for May i paid on the 8th it's except the payment but the minimum payment has stayed the same for May and if I had paid for April surely the minimum payment would have gone down for May??

@Mechanic Thanks for clarifying. It could be classed an additional payment to April's balance.

It's best to call to check this to be on the safe side. You can reach the Credit Card team on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and they'll be happy to help.
