New card after loss

    Hi. Lost my card, blocked and reported it on the app and applied for replacement. It appears the replacement has automatically been added to the both the Tesco Bank app and directly to my Google Wallet somehow, but I have a couple of questions in relation to it...
    1. Can I use the new card contactless on my phone straight away, or do I need to wait for the physical card and use it at least once with chip n pin first?
    2. Is there any way to access the full number and 3 digit security number via the app, or do I need to wait for the physical card?
    3. My wife has a secondary card on the same account... Will her card still work or do I need to order her a replacement too?

    Thanks for raising the queries.

    1) If the cards updated on your google wallet you can use that straight away with google pay, when the card arrived will need to be a chip and pin transaction for the physical card to activate the contactless on it.

    2) You'd need to wait for the physical card for the card number and cvv.

    3) When you've reported your card as lost then a new card will be ordered for yourself and for the secondary card holder, 5-7 calendar days for the card to arrive.
