Cannot login

    I had a Tesco credit card in 2017 and I remember calling them to close that account.

    I moved my house last year and my credit report showed that my address at Tesco bank is different than the current address. Because of my credit report, I came to know I still have account with Tesco. I called them to ask about it but I couldn’t clear the security questions as one of the answer was not correct. Customer service said they will send me a temporary code which will enable me to access my account and then I can login and cancel or change the address.

    But, when I used that temporary code, it asked me to verify my details including my credit card number which I don’t have.

    I called the customer service again but they did same procedure and later were unable to help me further.

    I really don’t want that account and wish to close.

    if anyone can suggest me, how to proceed in such situation?

    I'm sorry to hear about this situation you're in. Do you have access to any previous statements for the account as they will include your card number?

    Whilst I wish I was able to help more in this situation, we are limited here due to security measures so you will need to call us to try and resolve this, I'm afraid. Sorry about that.
