    Hi,
I missed my credit card bill by 3 days over May bank holiday. It was due on 3rd May and I paid on 6th May. This has never happened before on any payments I have due. I was charged £12. This is okay, but I would like it to be taken off my file as a gesture of good will. I am currently looking at getting a mortgage and I don’t want this to affect my credit score as it was a genuine mistake. If it can’t be taken off as a gesture of good will, please can I be reassured that as it was only 3 days late and I paid my minimum that it won’t affect my credit score. Thanks.

@ChloeLouWilks Hey there, thanks for getting in touch!

I'm sorry to hear about that. Provided you made at least the minimum payment before your next statement was produced, it won't be recorded on your credit report.

I hope this clarifies things for you!
