Hi. I've only had the card for a month and thought I'd set it up to pay off the monthly balance in full at the end of the month. The payment has just been taken but it's only about a third of the outstanding balance. What can have happened?

@Ian66 Hey there, thanks for getting in touch!

Did you have refunds come into the account, or payments in? If so, the Direct Debit would readjust to collect the new amount. Was that the case?

    Hi.
No. I have just recently opened the account to take advantage of the clubcard points.
My intention was to do all my day to day spending on the card and have the balance cleared with a direct debit from my current account at the end of every month.
What seems to have happened is that I have spent three thousand and the direct debit has only paid off one thousand, leaving borrowing of two thousand on the card. I understood that the direct debit would pay off the entire three thousand.
I have paid the minimum twenty five pounds off manually a week or so ago as I didn't want to accidentally default on my card if the automatic payment didn't work.
