direct debit from my credit card to pay resco moile monthly bill.

    I have a Tesco mobile account which I have had for years and have always paid by direct debit using my tesco credit card. It has now stopped taking the payments and I'm unable to reset it up.I've phoned Tesco mobile, they couldn't help,and said to phone Tesco Bank they couldn't help either saying you can't set up a drect debit on your credit card and to use another card or phone tesco mobile again which I did. They couldn't help they just told me to wait until 16th June and see if tesco bank hadset it up.

    I'm sorry to hear about this issue you're experiencing. You can't set up a Direct Debit payment from the Credit Card as it doesn't have a sort code and account number.

    It sounds like they were taking a recurring card payment from the account. Are you able to remove the card details from the Tesco Mobile App and re-add them to see if that works?

    I appreciate it is really frustrating to get passed back and forward, but if that doesn't work you will need to speak to Tesco Mobile as they should be able to set up a recurring card payment on their end - this isn't something that we can arrange, I'm afraid.

    I hope you get it all sorted and apologise for the inconvenience and time you've already spent trying to resolve this.
