    Why is it that Tesco Customer Services is only contactable by phone, usually after hanging on the phone for over 20mins.? In this modern day all Banks less yourselves have Customer Services who in addition to being contactable by phone can also be contacted by e mail. If we are banking on line where is Tesco's commitment to their Banking Service with provision of an e mail server?

    Hi , I’m sorry about the time you’ve spent trying to get through on the phones. As you’re aware, we don’t currently correspond by email and I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We do also answer queries on Twitter (@Tescobankhelp) and Facebook (Tesco Bank) if you use social media.
    I can certainly log your feedback regarding this if you send a private message to with your name, DOB and postcode, leaving a space between each character of your personal details.

    Have to agree with OP about offering an alternative to phone. When you say "We do also answer queries on Twitter (@Tescobankhelp)" You are aware that a reply is not always an answer. It is very frustrating to have to keep asking the same question because you "wear your politician's hat" and avoid the query.
