Automatic payment if Credit card has a new expiry date

    Hi - I’ve previously asked about what happens if I have a payment set to automatically be taken each year but I no longer want it to be - I haven’t managed to get a reply back from the company involved but does anyone know if the payment will be processed even if the card previously used has a new expiry date and security number this year ? - many thanks

    @Footballhells Hi there, thanks for getting in touch.

    Yes, your regular payment could still collect on the new card details. If you are unable to cancel the regular agreement/subscription with the merchant then you can give our customer services team a call on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm). They can request this merchant stopped on your account.
