Tesco Mobile Banking App

    I've recently set up a current account with Tesco and so far it's been more hassle than it's worth.

    First of all, what's up with payments put in after 4pm on a Saturday won't show in your account until Sunday? I found this out the hard way during a 'big shop' in Asda.

    The main issue for me is the Mobile Banking App. I downloaded it, set it up and so far have only managed to get into once.

    It refuses to accept my password (the online banking one you put in on first time set up). The password is correct. It works on my online banking.

    I deleted the app and reinstalled and it worked once. Since then we are back to nothing, putting your password in wrong 3 times locks your account. I have changed my password I do not know how many times due to being locked out and I am 100% certain it is the correct password (as mentioned previously, I've gone straight onto online banking on my phone's browser and it's worked).

    Have messaged Tesco directly but they aren't any help and having to do it via the browser each time I want to check my balance is a faf!

    Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Hi I have been unable to use my tesco app since before xmas when a new update came out! I have spoken to tesco through facebook and they have given me all sorts of codes and things to try, they can not see why it wont work but said to call tesco bank....... well if they cant see why it wont work then why waste my time and money calling for them to tell me the same. I hope you can get it sorted, in this day and age it is essential to have a mobile banking app that actually works!!

    Hi @Mwnci, I'm sorry to hear that you've had issues with the app and shopping on a Saturday evening. On Saturday nights our payment system undergoes maintenance so any transfers (internal or external) can take longer to process than usual. For future reference, this maintenance begins at 4pm on a Saturday and finishes at 6am on Sunday.

    Please note: don't include the @ symbol when putting in the contact details via private message, just Tesco-Bank.

    In the message explaining your situation, include your name, date of birth and postcode.

    For details like your DOB, postcode and phone number, we ask for you to format it with additional spaces, i.e. A B 1 2 C D, 2 4 1 0 2 0 1 6 and 0 7 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 otherwise the information is removed by the system.

    Hi I'm locked out of online banking also. It us saying my pin is incorrect but I'm sure it's right. I just wanted to log in to pay my bill. How do I get reset? Thanks
