One time access code

Hi tesco. I've read your answers on previous posts about the above. However each time I log in, on the same device, you send me a one time access code, even though each time I've logged in I've clicked the yes button to remember my device. Why is this?

    Hello

Apologies for the delay in replying to you. In order for us to recognise your device we must store a Cookie within your web browser. If each time you log in the device is not showing as recognised then this would indicate our Cookie is either not being stored or being deleted when the browser is closed (which can happen automatically).

Which device and web browser are you using to log in? We'll do our best to help with this!

    Thanks for your reply, .

On the top right hand side of Internet Explorer there should be a small cog icon, if you could click here and then choose 'Internet Options'. This should open up a small new window and whilst on the 'General' tab here there should be a tick box nearer the bottom which reads 'Delete browsing history on exit'; if this is ticked then please un tick the box and select 'Ok'. Please get back in touch and let us know how you get on with this.

Hi , I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with this. This would indicate that as Ash has suggested above that the cookie is not being saved when you log off. Are you using a private browser at all as this would delete the cookie or do you have any automated system cleaning software like CCleaner that could be removing this? If the problem persists then please give our online helpdesk a call on 0345 300 3511 (24/7) so we can investigate this and see what we can do to help.
