App Compatibility Google Pixel XL

Ever since I got the Pixel XL last year (now on Android 7.1.2) I have never been able to download this app. Would you be able to tell me when you be "supporting" this device?

    Hi

Thanks for getting in touch, although I am sorry you've been unable to download the app. Is it the regular Pixel or XL you have? Also, is it rooted? Get back in touch and let us know, we'll investigate further.

    Thanks,

    Ash

Thanks for confirming this @bgentles. I'm sorry, but the Pixel XL is not currently supported. However, I'll raise this as feedback with the appropriate team that this is something you would like to see. I'm sorry if this is not the answer you hoped for.

I have a similar issue now. I had previously installed the App on an earlier version of Android (7.0 probably) so when the 7.1.2 update became available I installed it and my App remained installed, however now when I login to the App I dont see any Transactions listed. I suspect that a newer version of the App has been published to the Play store but because Android 7.1.2 is not yet 'white listed' as an approved version the listing on the store is showing up as 'incompatible' and is not updatable. As mentioned I think its the fact that the version of android hasnt yet been given the green-light by the App developers that is the issue, opposed to specifically the Pixel phones. In an ideal world the App developers should be ahead of the game on up-coming Android versions, but often they are not - I've had similar issues with Apps from Eon, Sky and Costa... Edit: I have a 2nd Android device running Android 7.1.1 (Moto G 4G on LineageOS), I've just installed the latest App direct from the Play store on that (latest is v2.1.1, my Pixel version is v2.0.0). Then with an APK Extractor app I backed-up the v2.1.1 app from my Moto G and transfered it to my Pixel and was able to side-load it on there to force the update and I can once again see my Transactions listed once more!I'm not recomending this method if the source of the APK is 'unknown', but it certainly works.
