Already have one current account, if I open another do I need to pay in £750/month & 3 DDs on that one, neither or both?

Hi guys, As I've said in the subject, my partner and I already have individual current accounts (opened prior to the £750/month & 3 direct debits requirement for the 3% interest). If we now open a second current account (either one each, or one joint one between us), will we need to meet the £750 & 3DDs requirement to get the interest rate on that account? And will we then also need to do the same on the current accounts we have at the moment? Thanks in advance!

Hi there ! If you and your husband were to open a 2nd current account now, then they would be subject to the new terms that you've mentioned in your post. However, this will not impact your existing account that you have with us, and there are no deposit or direct debit requirements for the original account as it was opened prior to April 2017. I hope this helps :)
