Question about my loan!

Hi, I applied for a loan last Wednesday. They said 48 hours for them to make the descision, rang up Friday and the lady said it had been approved, told me the repayment rate and that the paperwork was in the post.

She never mentioned extra paperwork being needed. But i didn't get the option to sign online. So now I'm confused, if it's approved then do I need to send additional paperwork or if it's only approved in principle is there then a chance I could be turned down? I'm so confused! There was no mention of approved in principle. She only said it had been approved for the full amount and gave me the monthly repayment amount? Surely she wouldn't be able to do that with only an agreement in principle?
