I am sorry you've had trouble online,
@kent. Were you receiving an error messag when clicking the 'Log In' button or was the page not moving at all? Normally, in this instance we would advise clearing the cache on your web browser.
Our website does require a Cookie to be stored within your web browser to recognise that you've previously logged in with that device. You do not need to store this Cookie if you don't want to, as we provide an extra layer of security when logging in on a new browser or browser which does not store Cookies. We explain to customers that when logging in on an unrecognised device we will need to verify them by sending a One Time Access Code to their mobile or landline before completing their log in. I am sorry for any confusion and inconvenience the log in page has caused you! Please do get back in touch should you continue to have trouble with this.
With regards to the design of the website, we've used a contrast of colours in the hope that the page is clear for our users. I am sorry if this doesn't work well for you, it may be worthwhile looking into the different Firefox accessibility themes; they may help.
