I applied for a loan and have been told that I would be informed in 2 days of a decision is this the polite way of saying I have been rejected..... Is there a way I could find out sooner than 2 days?

Hi , I'm afraid not. If we're unable to give and instant decision then this means that we may have to perform additional checks before we're able to provide the outcome of your application. We're not able to speed up this process. I hope this clarifies things for you.

@RossM can someone explain how someone with 70k salary with NO outstanding debt and a clean credit report get rejected by Tesco? But someone with 25k salary 1 outstanding debt gets accepted?
