Car insurance start date query - I put the date I wanted cover to begin, but not sure if that day is being covered

Hi, I've just bought a new car insurance, starting on the 24th June. My current insurance expires 23rd June at 23:59, so I figured I could get the full use out of a year's insurance by starting it as soon as that runs out. However, my email confirmation of the new policy states the cover will start on the 24th June at 00:00. I'm a bit worried now, does this mean it won't actually cover the day of the 24th June, but instead will only start at midnight (and basically start on the 25th June)? I should be able to go without driving it for the 1 day if that is the case, but when I was googling the legality of leaving a car uninsured on the drive, it did say you need to declare it as off the road. That's a lot of hassle to go to for just 1 day, so I wanted to check - first whether it really won't be covered for the 24th June, secondly, if it's not, if I can go without insurance for that day, and thirdly, if it's not, is it possible to change my policy start date by 1 day for no extra charge?

Hi , if the policy begins at 00:00 on the 24/06/2018 then you will be covered the whole day of the 24th. I hope this clarifies things for you - Ross
