Internet saver account- Initial bank payment

    This is my first post so apologies if it is in the wrong place!When setting up the internet saver account they ask you to provide another bank account and set up a payment to send to the new tesco account. Even though I am now registered and can send money to and from these two accounts, the initial payment never left my old bank account and did not enter my new one. Why is this?Thank you!

    Hi , thanks for getting in touch and thanks for your question! When you apply for a savings account we ask how you're going to fund the account. If you choose the option "transfer from another bank", that's considered a manual transfer option, meaning you'd still need to ask your personal account provider to move funds over. We're unable to pull funds from your account, as we no longer allow direct debits to be set up on our savings accounts.
