Would I be charged for reducing my loan term?

    Hi,

I got a loan over 5 years and have made 3 payments so far, I would like to reduce the term of the loan as I have not made full use of all the money I borrowed, I dont however want to be charge for doing so.

RossM says " If you make an overpayment and chose to reduce your monthly payments, there will be no charge and you will also receive an interest rebate back, meaning you would save money. You would also have the option of reducing the term of the loan if you make an overpayment, which gives you a greater interest rebate"

But doesn't say if you would get charged for an overpayment to reduce the term of the loan..

My question is do you get charged for overpayment to reduce the term, if so, is there a certain amount you can repay extra each year without incurring the charges?

    Thanks and Regards
