I have just received a text message saying... your recent current account application has been approved, please contact us on **sensitive info removed**3, I am hesitant about ring as surely the paperwork/confirmation would be posted to me, I have had n email or anything in the post, why would Tesco bank want me to ring them? is this legit?

It's possible that we need to speak to you to confirm some aspect of your application. If you contact our Current Account Originations department on 0345 030 3170 they will be able to confirm if any action needs to be taken, and whether the text message was legitimate.
Their opening times are:
Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm
Sat: 9am - 5pm
Sun: Closed
