covid 19 payment break

    i had a payment holiday for covid 19, now i have had an arrears letter, do i need to pay the 3 months in full, will this affect my credit file, will you set up the dd again and can I pay through online banking?

    Hi Here is some advice along with links from Ross on the subject of Covid 19 payment break & arrears letters.Hi, thank you for your post. I’m sorry to hear about this and I completely understand your worries. If you have emailed across the form, please ignore any requests for payment that you may receive from us from now until the end of your payment holiday as these are automatic. We are working hard processing these requests as quickly as possible and will backdate the payment break to start from the date you sent us the form. This will have no negative impact on your credit file.     Good afternoon. Your credit reports won’t be impacted by the payment holiday and unfortunately the letter is automatically generated by the system. I’m unable to comment on whether or not your Direct Debit will be set up again but you are able to pay via Online Banking either through Tesco’s online portal or your own bank/building society. If you pop a private message to with your name, postcode and date of birth and one of the team will be able to assist you.
