Easyjet Cancelled Outbound Flight Inbound Flight Still Operating

    We have received an email to cancel our outbound flight 29th July. Our Inbound flight on 6th August is still operational. I have spent 18+ hours on hold but cannot get through to Easyjet. Also sent 2 messages on Messenger and received an automated reply telling me to go to Manage My Booking. A further 2 emails have been sent to Easyjet - no reply. I obviously cannot fly back from somewhere i have not flown to. If I cancel the return flight (the one that is still flying) I have been informed we will lose our money. I just don't know what to do. Even though I don't know where I would like to go on holidays next year I thought okay i will transfer the payment to flights for next year but they are treble the price of what I paid this year! Very stressed! Any advice please?

    Hi If Easyjet have cancelled your outbound flight ,then you are entitled to a refund for both flights.The first ting to do is to formally request a refund, simply complete the attached Easyjet compensation claim form and submit as instructed.https://www.easyjet.com/en/claim/welfareIf you are refused a refund by Easyjet within 15 days or receive no response, then Tesco Bank can help you with a chargeback claim under section 75.     I can understand and empathize your frustration as I've been through this so many times with Easyjet.
    Of course you cannot return from somewhere you've not flown to.
    You need to dispute the transaction.

    Complete the form and send it to the disputes team.
