Selecting which store to have your groceries delivery from

The closest Tesco store to me is a normal sized store and therefore a limited range. There are 2 Tesco Extra stores within a 15 mile range from me which have a much greater range of items, the Tesco website defaults the range from choose from my local store if opting for delivery. Is there a way I can select to have a delivery from the Extra stores further away so I can benefit from the range? I am having to opt for click and collect from these stores when I would much prefer a delivery. Is there a way around?

    Hi
Quite honestly I don't know that you can select a specific Tesco Extra store for your online delivery.
Think this is one for someone at Tesco to answer.
You could try sending Tesco a 'Private Message' from here and see if they can assist you.

Click on this link and it will take you to a page, 'About Tesco Bank'.
In the top right of the page click onto 'Send a Message'.
A new page will open up, 'Create New Message'.
Complete it and send your message securely.
Please include your full name, date of birth and postcode.
    Warm wishes, Caz

Hi I'm a regular online Tesco shopper myself, love it ! The default for your local store is applied to 'click and collect' orders. When you log in, first choose your delivery slot
, then go shopping. This gives access to the full Tesco groceries range.Kind Regards,

This doesn't appear to work for me, if I change my address to a pseudo one which is close to an Extra store and then choose a delivery slot it then gives me the full range. When I then change it back to my correct address and choose a slot it then gives me a more limited range, which makes me assume Tesco shall then only offer me the range from my local store which is not an Extra store format.

    Hi
That’s really strange, I never have that problem, but there’s always more than one way to skin a cat !
A way you could set about it is by ignoring the delivery slot before you shop, this will give you access to the full range, complete your shopping into the basket, and when you checkout it will prompt you to login and add your delivery address.
It’s always worked well for me when I’m staying away and want to get a shop done for the week.
    Best wishes, Chris,

I have not tried that way yet, I will have a go. I did however try that with Sainsburys at the start of lockdown and then after choosing the slot a notification came up with all the items that are suddenly unavailable which was about 50% of the basket which took an hour to painstakingly put together!
