Hi,Last September I booked a train trip in South Africa for November this year. With the current Covid 19 situation, the whole trip has been cancelled.I have received a refund of the full amount in local currency (24450 ZAR), but with the current conversion rates this has left me significantky out of pocket. Is there aything that can be done?

Hi Great that you've received the full amount after your trip was cancelled. There is very little you can do as the conversion rate is what it is.Did you pay in ZAR or £'s?If you paid in £'s you could argue the fact that you should be reimbursed in £'s.However if you did pay in £'s and it was then it was converted to ZAR, its just a reversal.Warm wishes, Caz

Hi , I appreciate how frustrating this must be for you however, I'm afraid we are unable to dispute any conversion rates. I would perhaps advise to go back to the company direct to see if there is anything they can do. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
