Hello - I am using my Tesco Credit Card to place my Tesco online grocery order for delivery. The problem is that every time I checkout the app displays the following message:

"We were unable to confirm your payment, Please contact your bank at 0345 366 1281 for further details". I then request a 5-digit passcode, which gets sent to as a text to my mobile. I then enter that code into the payment screen.

The problem is that this is required EVERYTIME I checkout. I normally order groceries once a week. I add and delete items all through that week. Everytime I save changes, it asks for this damn passcode regardless of whether it is one loaf of bread or 2 apples.

There really must be something wrong with the set-up.

I have just spent 30mins on the phone to the Tesco Credit Card helpdesk. They told me that this is normal.

Other cards only ask for authentication when the transaction is out of the ordinary.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this please. This is very frustrating. I am about ready to change companies, I am so fed up.
