    How can I online chat with fraud department

    You can't chart to the fraud team online.


    To speak to a colleague, you can reach them on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and they'll be happy to help.

    To speak to one of my colleagues, please choose option 2 and enter your security details, then press 0. If you don't have any details to hand, just press 0 and you will then be passed through.

    Regrettably that doesn't help me at the moment. I'm in Dubai until Monday. Shortly after I checked in at my hotel I had a Tesco CC message saying that a payment for £17000+ (exact figure was given) to the hotel/owners I'm staying at was declined. When I replied that this was not a correct payment Tesco CC fraud depth phoned me here in Dubai. However at £1 a minute to receive calls and after Tesco CC taking 10 mins to put me through, I was cut off 3-4 minutes into discussing it. My "top up" credit on phone had run out. I messaged on the original sms thread asking them to recall me but they haven't. When I tried my card earlier this evening it was declined. Fortunately I have other cards. I am not phoning them from dubai at £2.50/minute to make calls so I'll have to sort when I get home

    @Airwaved I'm really sorry to hear about this and appreciate how frustrating this must have been. As we were unable to speak to you directly the team will have taken the decision to put a block on the card to protect your account, but I understand this has caused an inconvenience. I'm glad to hear you've got other cards to use though.

    I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Dubai, and you can speak to the team directly upon your return.
