Interest free period

    Hi
i I took out a credit card in sept/oct 2024 to do a balance transfer with an interest free period of 27 months, I however have received an email stating the following:
We're getting in touch because your 0% rate on Money Transfers will end in June - this is a quick reminder to help you plan ahead.
Here's what you need to know
From 23 June 2025, interest on this balance will be charged at your standard rate. This means your minimum payment could increase.
You'll see your new minimum payment on your July statement.
You can find details of your balance(s) on your monthly statement under 'summary of balances'.

can you please confirm whether this is on new balance transfers or the one I have already done. I’ve only had the credit card for a short period and would not have transferred the money over if the interest free period was this short and was not what I had applied for?

    thanks
    Louise

@Jeancartwright Hey there, thanks for getting in touch!

When you take a Balance Transfer card with us, you are also given an introductory 0% period on Money Transfers. We are obligated to let you know when that period expires whether you took the option or not. The email you've copied above in your post outlines that it relates to Money Transfers.

Any existing Balance Transfers you've processed won't be affected by this and will expire on the date you were given when you opened the account.
