The is a declaration if you open an ISA with Tesco that states along the lines of this is the only cash ISA that you will have. I am sure they must know you can now have multiple ISA as long as they do not go over the allowance. HSBC has confirmed they are removing that old declaration but Tesco still have it? Is this a mistake or do Tesco think they can limit any ISA taken to just Tesco and no other financial institution, I understand they can limit how many they will let someone have but to have a declaration of exclusivity seems contrary to the government changes. Can some one clarify this?
