Hi there,

I want to transfer my 3 JISAs out to NS&I as their rate is better but I note Tesco don't pay the interest until the year anniversary of opening the account (November 2024). If I were to transfer now, what happens to the interest accrued so far?

You would receive the total balance including interest accrued up until the transfer.

@ChristopherP Thanks for the reply. I put £9k in last year and it's still showing £9k now, are we sure the interest gets added when i move it, even f it doesnt show any interest at all for the last 6 months or so?

@mattjustmatt You're very welcome! That's correct. If you call the Savings team on 0345 678 5678 (Mon - Fri: 8am - 6pm, Sat - Sun: 9am - 2pm) they'll be able to talk you through this.
