My credit card account is set to pay the full statement balance by DD, but the DD that got taken the other day was less than my statement balance. Why is this, and will this mean I end up paying interest as I haven't paid the statement amount?

Have you made a payment or received a credit/refund since your last statement was produced? If so, the Direct Debit would have readjusted to reflect the new balance.
If you've checked through your statement and are still unsure why this has happened, please give the Credit Card team a call.
