I have overpaid my full balance

    I made a payment to Tesco CC to pay my full balance forgetting that a direct debit has been set up the payment was taken twice twice. I am now in quite a large deficit. I would like to withdraw the minus money back to my current account but I see online there would be a charge of £55. Is that correct?

    @Sammie04 Thanks for getting in touch.

    There are several ways to get this money back for your particular query.

    Direct Debit Indemnity: You can call your personal bank and request this. They can pull back your Direct Debit and you will have the funds within 24 hours.

    Incorrect Payment Refund: You can give us a call on 0345 366 1281 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and a member of our team can refund the full additional payment you made. This usually take 2-3 business days.

    Credit Balance Refund: If your account in now in credit, you can request the credit balance back as simple Money Transfer via our online banking or mobile app.

    As long as you only transfer the credit balance figure you won't be charged the usual fee. Please take into consideration any pending transactions as part of this final figure. You may be charged interest however it will be automatically refunded to you within 10 days.
