Have to close my account and get rid of cards because all tesco cards are contactless--why

    I've been reading these older posts re' the contactless vs non contactless cards. I don't understand why folk can't have a choice over the type of card they use, I do understand that a card requiring a PIN to be used in a store, can also be used online or over the phone, but there's a big BUT here, a transaction by phone or online requires an address for the goods to be delivered to, it also takes time. Not like a few quick small purchases before dumping the card, with no possible way of catching those responsible.

    Hi , thanks for getting in touch and for sharing your comments. Currently we do only offer Contactless cards for our customers, but this may change in the future if we see more demand. In the meantime though, we take the security of our accounts very seriously and anyone affected by fraud will be quickly back in their original position.
